Who We Are

NPFS seeks to provide quality services to individuals who would otherwise be unable to receive treatment due to financial limitations.

New Priorities Family Services is a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rights of children, adolescents and adults to grow and develop as healthy, happy, successful and contributing individuals.

We provide professionally designed programs using evidence-based practices to give individuals the best services available while realizing the importance of affordable services.

We provide a treatment setting for children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral, mental health and chemical dependency issues to develop coping, communication and decision making skills that will allow the client to grow and develop into healthy, happy, successful and contributing individual.

What We Do

Our objective is to provide mental health and chemical dependency treatment services to all individuals regardless of age, religion, age, gender and socioeconomic status.

To provide comprehensive mental health and/or alcohol/drugs treatment to youth, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in an effort to halt the destructive cycles of behavioral and mental health issues.

We provide out reach support for our clients, such as assisting with OHP applications, support for additional resources such as food stamps and transportation to and from our services.

The need for volunteers would be to serve on our board and/or  assist in clients  seeking community services, help  clients complete written treatment paperwork, offer support, transportation, and other needs of the client and family.  We help clients with the OHP application process from the actual filling of the application to getting the application processed in a timely manner.   We also help with SSI/SSD for those clients who need that.

If you are a caring, non judgmental person that seeks satisfaction in knowing that they you are helping someone restore their sense of dignity, self worth, and mental wellness, then NPFS has the opportunity for you do serve your community.

Background checks and a drug test is completed at time of volunteer application process.  A past criminal experience does not automatically eliminate you from volunteering.
