Who We Are
Our group consists of people throughout Central Oregon that are passionate about sharing the benefits of a vegan diet. We also host a radio talk show "All Things Vegan" on KPOV, 88.9 Community radio that has been airing twice a month for almost 11 years.
What We Do
We share information to the public about how to help animals, the planet and their own health through a vegan lifestyle. We staff booths, screen films, have monthly potlucks at the Environmental Center where we are a member, and occasionally host other events. This summer we partnered with 350 Deschutes to raise awareness about the effect of animal agriculture on the planet and on health. We have had one VegFest consisting of a day long event at Cascades Culinary Institute featuring local and out of town speakers, food demos, vegan vendors, lunch, film screening, etc.
