Jericho Road Mobile Shower Volunteer Needs

Volunteer Drivers.
Duties Include: Filling water tank on truck
Picking up shower trailer at storage location
Driving truck and trailer to shower site
Setting up unit
Monitoring (overseeing) the shower day
Returning the trailer to storage
Time commitment: 5-6 hours each scheduled shower day

Volunteer Driver Assistant
Duties Include: Assist Volunteer Driver set up unit at site
Monitor shower program schedule
Clean Shower stalls after each use
Hand out hygiene products
Get shower unit ready for return to storage at
end of day
Time commitment: Approximately 4 hours each scheduled shower day

Maintenance Volunteer
Duties Include Clean, wash and provide monthly general maintenance to shower trailer and truck
Time commitment: 3 hours one time per month

Volunteer Hygiene Supply Manager
Duties Include: Collect and organize hygiene supplies
Check and stock shower trailer weekly
Time commitment: 1-2 hours per week

Volunteer Laundry Manager
Duties Include: Launder towels weekly
Ensure clean and adequate supply
Time commitment: 1-2 hours weekly

Jericho Road is a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated 

Each Friday morning a team of Outreach Volunteers brings food items, warm breakfast sandwiches, clothing, water, pet food, and emergency supples to Jericho's Community Outreach location at the end of east Antler. We are joined by local community organizations such as Mosaic Medical Van, Best Care, Deschutes County Mental Health and others who bring hope, information and supplies to those houseless individuals in the Redmond area.

Winter Hours 10-noon.

We seek board members with experience in the community being served, board experience, energy and enthusiasm for the work of the organization. Computer and writing skills helpful.

The Board of Directors is an all-volunteer, working board, responsible for the overall policy and direction of Jericho Road.
