Are you a local teen looking to volunteer or earn some service hours? Join us for a fun evening in front of Bend's most famous toy store, Leapin' Lizards. We'll be setting up and hosting a table, engaging passersby to make simple, thoughtful thank-you cards for U.S. veterans. One week later, Camp Fire Afterschool Youth will distribute these cards to vets during Bend's Annual Veterans Day Parade. This service project helps engage the public in this thank-you effort, plus ensures we have plenty of cards to hand out for the parade.
Who: Six teen volunteers, two shifts of three teens each
When: Friday, Nov. 4, 2022: 4:45-9:15 p.m. (2.25-hour shifts available)
