What is the Salmon Run? One of Bend’s oldest organized races and a local favorite!
Kick off the 2019 race season with a true Bend tradition. One of the first half marathons of the year in the Northwest, it has long been central to the local racing scene. Because of its early-season timing, it is also the quintessential race for runners looking to build a base for future races.
This event is organized by Lay It Out Events, but The Environmental Center is the beneficiary! Can you help us out by volunteering at an aid station during the event?
There are 5 aid stations we're trying to help staff with volunteers.
Different shifts available, ranging from 1.5 hours to 4 hours. You'll help set up water stations, support racers, and break down at the end. Very organized, and very simple!
The start finish/line is at the Athletic Club of Bend.
