Join the Deschutes Land Trust for a milkweed seed packing party! One of the best ways to help struggling monarch butterflies is to plant native milkweed! Help prepare native milkweed seed packets by counting tiny seeds, adding them to seed packs, and sealing envelopes so they can be distributed throughout Central Oregon and at Land Trust events. Your efforts will help provide the native milkweed that Western monarch butterflies need for egg laying and caterpillar food.
