Heart 'n Home welcomes Volunteers! Volunteers have a variety of life experience, talents and passion that make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and families. The types of activities in which you may participate include: companionship, delivering flowers, reading, prepare a meal, help keep the home neat, and whatever else your heart and creativity can dream up. Volunteer: Pet Therapy for Hospice Patients

Watch "Juanita" light up when her Volunteer Pet visits each week. Chloe, a Black Lab with enough unconditional love for all, provides a calm and affectionate presence! Remarkable observations have been made when patients interact with pets. They smile more often and surprisingly have normal heart rate and lower blood pressure. The men and women in Hospice would love some companionship from a 4-legged friend. Cats are welcome too!

Pets must be certified Pet Therapy animals.
