You are a patron’s first and often only point of contact. You are the face of the Tower.
Your primary responsibility is for the safety of our patrons.
Ushers assist with patrons having a positive theater experience.
Ushers must be able to stand for several hours.
Greet, make eye contact, and smile!
Monitor crowd for any patron needing assistance.
Report issues to Tower staff.

Volunteer: Tower Theatre Finance CommitteeThe Tower Theatre Foundation is seeking Finance Committee volunteers. The Treasurer leads the committee which reports to the Board of Directors. The Committee oversees and supports staff and the Board of Directors in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring the financial performance and position of the Foundation. Meetings are held once per month for staff and the committee to review the Foundation’s financial performance and discuss current activities. Audits are conducted once per year by an independent accounting firm which reports their conclusions to the Committee. Volunteers with experience and knowledge of accounting, banking, or operational budgets will be best suited for this role. The Finance Committee is a great introduction to the organization for people interested in joining the Board of Directors. Candidates need to meet with current board members and staff leaders during the six months prior to nominations to determine if there is a fit between the volunteer’s interests and availability and the organization’s needs and expectations. Meetings are held once per month. Board members also contribute their time between meetings in at least one area of the organization that interests them. A board contract is available for review which outlines what is expected of board members and what board members can expect from the organization. Prior board experience is not required.
