Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend for our annual Flannel & Frost Dinner and Auction on Saturday, November 15th! We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this special evening a success from start to finish.

Volunteer roles include:

Greeting and welcoming guestsGeneral operations throughout the eveningEvent setup and cleanupProviding support wherever needed

We're Looking for Volunteers—Join Us for the I Like Pie Run/Walk!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend is excited to once again be the beneficiary of this year’s I Like Pie Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning—Thursday, November 27, 2025!

As the benefiting nonprofit, we’re rallying an incredible crew of 50 volunteers to help make this event a success. Whether you’re an early bird or want to end your morning with a slice of pie, we’ve got a spot for you!

Location: Farewell and Riverbend Parks, along the beautiful Deschutes River

Volunteer Shifts: Between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM

Volunteer Opportunities:

Setup Crew: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Help bring the event to life by setting up tents, tables, and signage.

Registration Team: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Help check in participants and distribute bibs and race materials.

Pie Team: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Cut and serve pie to the hungry and happy runners and walkers.

Course Support: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Cheer on participants and help guide them safely along the race course. Great for energetic, encouraging folks who love being in the middle of the action!

Cleanup Crew: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (or until cleanup is complete)
Help wrap up the fun by breaking down the event space.
