Who We Are

Bend Park & Recreation District proudly serves our community by providing exceptional park and recreation services.

The natural areas maintained by the district include over 76 parks and 56 miles of trail system. Recreation programs are many and varied, including over 770 options for people of all ages and abilities. These programs include youth and adult sports, therapeutic and adaptive recreation for people with disabilities, youth and adult outdoor recreation, youth recreation and enrichment, adult and senior enrichment, fitness, aquatics and childcare programs. Facilities include Juniper Swim & Fitness Center and the Bend Senior Center. We offer several community events each year, including Discover Nature Day in April, Hershey Track & Field Games in May, July 4th Pet Parade and Old-Fashioned Festival on July 4th, and Day of Play in September. Plus many more activities and special programs.

More than 2000 volunteers a year contribute their time and talent and are highly valued partners in providing excellent programs and taking good care of the resources in our community.
