Certified Cicerone® and Certified Cider Professional™ Brian Yaeger is the author of Red, White, and Brew: An American Beer Odyssey and Oregon Breweries and contributed to the Oxford Companion to Beer. He lives in Bend, Oregon where he covers beer for The Source Weekly and hosts the Grand Craft Bend Podcast that largely focuses on the Central Oregon beer scene. Yaeger has appeared on NPR’s Marketplace with Kai Ryssdal, Martha Stewart Living Radio, and The Brewing Network. He earned a Master in Professional Writing (with a thesis on beer). Since 2021, Brian has been hired to create events for breweries, beer halls, and beer clubs. He's available for private events including beer dinners and educational tastings. (he can talk your team’s ears off about many, fun facets of beer while simultaneously leading a tasty tasting panel).
