BrightSide Animal Center

Our mission:  BrightSide is a high-save shelter focused on reducing pet homelessness and euthanasia, through adoption placement, foster care and spay and neuter of shelter animals to reduce pet overpopulation.  Each animal that enters through our back receiving door deserves the chance to leave through our front door with a secure future.

The BrightSide Animal Center is a high-save shelter dedicated to enriching the lives of displaced animals through quality care and adoption to responsible and loving homes. 

In addition to the support we give to each animal we have two additional operations that provide monetary support and are critical to the success of the organization:

Brightside Animal Center Thrift Store is what provides income for the operation support of the shelter.  We receive and pick up donations, process the donations for sale and sell the donations.

Bottle and Can Operations is another high income producing area of our operations.  We sort refundable bottles and cans and receive income as we recycle those items.  We have donation trailers parked throughout Central Oregon.
