Deschutes Children's Foundation

DCF provides rent-free office and classroom space and no-cost property management at the centers to our partners. This unique model saves thousands of dollars annually for DCF’s partners and increases the efficiency of community services by:

• Creating a “one stop shop” for child and family services
• Reducing operating costs for its nonprofit partners
• Promoting collaboration between nonprofit partners
• Providing common areas and office equipment for all partner agencies to use

Our nonprofit partners provide the following services to our community:

• Prevention of child and domestic abuse and violence
• Early childhood education
• Youth enrichment programs
• Community health and wellness
• Family and community mediation services

 The benefits our nonprofit partners receive include:

• Rent-free office and classroom space
• No-cost property management with the services of an onsite facility manager
• Normal building maintenance
• A warm, safe and welcoming environment for their clients

Deschutes Children's Foundation manages and maintains four non-profit service centers in Bend, Redmond, and La Pine for children and families. Our 22 partner organizations receive rent-free facility and office space and no-cost, on-site property management. Deschutes Children's Foundation relieves these nonprofits of the burden of facility overhead, allowing our partners to focus on their core missions: caring for over 19,000+ of our community's most vulnerable citizens each year.
