Who We Are
THEIR RIGHTS, YOUR VOICE!
Certified Volunteer Ombudsmen advocate for the rights and dignity of elderly and disabled community members. In Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes counties there are many individuals in need of an Ombudsman to advocate for them.
Ombudsmen work to make the residential services meet the individual's needs and wishes. They investigate and problem solve until resident concerns have been resolved. They advocate for residents' rights allowing them to make choices about their care and live free from abuse and neglect.
Great training (currently online) and a team environment come with the job. Volunteers make a difference by serving about 4 hours a week.
