Who We Are
SOLVE is an environmental nonprofit that began as a grassroots initiative and has grown into a nationally recognized model for volunteer-driven stewardship. Each year, SOLVE mobilizes thousands of volunteers across Oregon and Southwest Washington to clean and restore neighborhoods and natural areas, fostering a culture of environmental care and community pride.
What We Do
Each year SOLVE helps connect over 30,000 Oregon volunteers to community lead projects across the state. We have four programs that provide service in Central Oregon. Two of these are one day events: Oregon Spring Cleanup event in the spring, and the Beach and Riverside Cleanup in the fall. We also have two year-round projects, Project Oregon and Oregon Adopt-A-River that allow people to plan a project any time anywhere in Oregon. These programs empower anyone wanting to get involved by offering free training, supplies, outreach assistance and more.
