BEAT Children's Theatre

BEAT Children's Theatre is run by educators and theatre teaching artists who focus on putting the quality of the process before the quality of the finished product. Our volunteers are local families and business people who believe in supporting the growth of young people in Central Oregon, and understand how much theatre has to offer. We are also a group of adults and young people looking to enjoy the exciting and creative process of theatre, and have fun together!

BEAT Children's Theatre is a Central Oregon non-profit whose mission is to empower young people through theatre arts. We provide camps, classes, performances, school workshops and community partnerships for children ages 4-19 across Central Oregon. With theatre as our tool, we teach young people about collaboration, creativity, community, social skills and self-confidence. Not all young people will grow up to work in the arts, but all young people can benefit from the education an life skills obtained through theatre arts.
