The Oregon Department of Human Services assists people to become independent, healthy and safe. ODHS has 4 program areas: Child Welfare, Adults & People with Disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Self-Sufficiency.

Mission: To help Oregonians in their own communities achieve well-being and independence through opportunities that protect, empower, respect choice and preserve dignity.
