Who We Are
ALS Northwest exists to provide comprehensive support and advocacy for people with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and their families, while advancing research for new treatments and an end to ALS.
What We Do
The goal of our Helping Hands Program is to make daily living a bit easier for people with ALS and their families through volunteer assistance with things like gardening, housework, errands, and companionship. Once volunteers are trained, they will be matched with a person with ALS in their community for regular visits.
