The Northwest Bat Hub is a research group housed within the HERS Lab at OSU Cascades. We have been coordinating bat research in the Pacific Northwest since 2016 and have been involving the public in bat data collection since 2019. Our focus has and always will be on collaboration and applied science.
What We Do
We help to coordinate bat research across the Pacific Northwest. We work in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho to monitor bats at the landscape scale. We also have a citizen science program, The Audible Bats Project. Through this program we provide public outreach about our local bat species and provide opportunities for community members to get involved in bat research in a variety of settings.
