WHY UNITY 4 INCLUSION Unity4Inclusion is based on 和 (wa) meaning Harmony in Japanese. Wa is a founding cultural principle in Japan. Wa is the embodiment of Unity; everyone working together, group survival, the collective is more important than the individual, and everyone looks out for one another. Harmony in Disability: The purpose of harmony is that people with disabilities are not alone. We are all one. We will work together as a team to raise awareness and to advocate for those with disabilities. Advocates who are part of Unity4Inclusion share their stories, creating awareness, insight, and hope.

MISSION STATEMENT: Unity4Inclusion advocates and empowers People with Disabilities by uniting communities and helping break the barriers People with Disabilities face. Our mission is to increase connections between People with Disabilities and their communities, engaging change, progress, education, and most importantly, fostering hope for a brighter future towards Inclusion.
