Who We Are
Sisters Habitat for Humanity offers affordable loans to families and individuals for homeownership. Households in the 35%-80% of the Area Median Income may apply for homeownership and are responsible for completing a number of "sweat equity" hours by volunteering on the Construction site, at our Thrift Store, Restore. Applicants are also required to participate in several financial, homebuyer, home maintenance and other education classes to become successful homeowners. We are able to build these affordable homes through volunteer labor, cash and donations of materials and services.
What We Do
Sisters Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing affordable and energy-efficient housing to working class families in the Sisters area so that they can improve both their lives and the community that they share. The Habitat Thrift Store and ReStore were established as a means to help raise funds to help with our mission of everyone having a decent place to live through our building and home repair programs. We seek to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
