Applications Team Lead- Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Applications Team Lead for SHP will be responsible for furthering the mission of SHP through implementing a local plan for the vetting of applications, assisting in the delivery scheduling and delivery of beds to children in the chapter service area.
POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and implement a plan to vet applicants, and determine delivery priorities.
Develop and manage a team to assist in the vetting of applicants and case management
Assist in the recruitment and training of delivery team leads
Work to establish relationships with local advocates and agencies serving children in the chapter service area. (DFS, CPS, CASA, school counselors, refugee organizations)
Create Delivery sheets to be used by Delivery Team leads
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work and communicate with diverse populations in a compassionate manner
A passion for the SHP Mission to help see that No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!
Ability to recruit and train Application Team members to screen and interact compassionately with applicants and their families
Ability to operate within the software systems required by SHP to effectively serve applicants and maintain accurate records
Communicate with Delivery Team Leads on upcoming deliveries and requirements for those deliveries
Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and text with applicants
Explain the mission of SHP and set delivery expectations
