Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a non-profit dedicated to providing beds to children in need.

At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem.

SHP chapters across North America build or deliver beds, ensuring safe and comfortable sleeping conditions for children in need. Proudly serving all of Central Oregon, your local chapter is OR-Deschutes County.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is where it is today because countless individuals asked the question, “What can I do?” The answer is that there are many ways to get involved! From volunteering your time and energy on a Build Day, to making a donation to a local chapter in need, to sponsoring a local build day; there are countless ways you can help us continue to ensure that “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!”
