Security & Event Ambassador
The Oregon Lightning is seeking dedicated and personable Security & Event Ambassadors to support our home games, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized experience for all attendees. Responsibilities include ticket-taking support, monitoring facility entry and exit points, and securing designated areas such as VIP and sponsor sections. Ambassadors will also assist with seat ushering, directing fans to their assigned locations, and overseeing field access to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted zones.
As a Security & Event Ambassador, you will serve as the primary point of escalation for any security-related concerns, working closely with event staff and venue personnel to address issues swiftly and professionally. Your presence will help maintain a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for fans, players, and sponsors. Shifts typically last 4 to 5 hours, starting 1 hour before game time and concluding 30 minutes after the game’s end.

Who Can Participate?
We welcome volunteers from a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including:

✅ College students
✅ Adults and older adults
A few assigned stations require good mobility and involve frequent standing or walking. However, many positions can accommodate limited-mobility individuals, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be part of the game-day experience.
