Central Oregon Disability Support Network (CODSN) is a non-profit offering support to families navigating disability in eight counties throughout Oregon. We offer a variety of services for our families, and we love what we do!
A cornerstone event that brings families, self‑advocates, and professionals together is our Breaking Barriers Conference. This conference is an opportunity for self-advocates, professionals, and families to learn from each other and discover disability-related resources - It serves as a platform to share the unique and diverse perspectives of all members of our community. Together we will learn to create a truly inclusive society, where all people will enjoy a fulfilling and self-directed life beyond labels.
Join us on Tuesday, April 14th to help assemble raffle baskets for the Breaking Barriers Conference. This behind‑the‑scenes volunteer role is a simple but powerful way to support access and inclusion in our community. The baskets you help create will be raffled off during the conference, and every dollar raised goes directly toward scholarships for individuals with disabilities and their families, ensuring they can attend at no cost. If you enjoy organizing, crafting, or just being part of something meaningful, this is a wonderful way to make a tangible difference!
Most of our volunteers will be joining us from 9am–12pm, but we’re also looking for a few folks who might prefer helping in the afternoon. If that works better for your schedule, we’d love to have you! Come hang out with us at CODSN, enjoy some coffee or tea, and have a great time.
