Be Part of a Documentary Screening & Panel Discussion

Friday, May 29 | 3:00–8:00 PM | Madras, OR

Join OPB behind the scenes at a special documentary screening and panel discussion in Madras! We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help us create a welcoming, engaging experience for our Central Oregon community.

This is a unique opportunity to support a live OPB event, connect with guests, and work alongside OPB staff—all while being part of something meaningful and fun.

  • Help extend the Audience Development team’s ability to engage with our audience

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with guests
  • Take tickets and/or check guest lists
  • Invite guests to fill out a form or enter raffle drawings
  • Assist with event set-up and tear-down
  • Represent OPB as a welcoming, helpful presence

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable and dependable volunteers
  • Friendly, welcoming personalities
  • Comfortable talking with lots of different people
  • Flexible, able to think on your feet, and calm in busy environments
  • Willing to communicate with OPB staff via email and in person

Training & Support

  • Training provided by OPB’s Audience Development team
  • OPB staff onsite during the event to answer questions and troubleshoot
  • Ongoing updates and support as needed

Time Commitment

  • Friday, May 29 | 3:00–8:00 PM
  • By joining this event, you will have the opportunity to become part of OPB's Central Oregon Event Assistant Team, which supports 3-5 Central Oregon events each year
