Disaster Health Services Representative: Provide Health Services support utilizing protocols of the American Red Cross. Disaster Health Services (DHS) Responders provide health services to clients and staff at various assignment settings including shelters, emergency aid stations, respite and service centers.
Disaster Mental Health Representative: The Disaster Mental Health (DMH) Representative helps adults and children cope with the emotional and environmental impact following a disaster by assessing clients’ needs, helping them adjust to shelter living and assisting them with their recovery efforts.
Requirements:
- Have an active license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
