KPOV is looking for community members to answering phones and even go on the air during our Spring membership drive. Like all public radio stations, we hold membership drives to rally the community to help us raise the resources we need to continue serving the community. Our next drive is Oct. 14-22. We have a range of times available to volunteer for 2 to 3 hour shifts.
We train phone volunteers well and the studio is always a lot of fun during the membership drive and we have lots of great food and coffee. A community radio station is at its best and most fun during a membership drive. Your favorite DJs and all kinds of great people are buzzing in and out.
