Become a Volunteer Advocate with Saving Grace!
The next Saving Grace Advocate Training begins Friday March 22nd and spans the following two weekends: March 22-24, April 5-7. In this training, topics will include: Anti-Oppression, Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assualt, and Stalking; Dismantling Racism and Heterosexism and much more. You will be provided with the knowledge and the tools to become an advocate for the people who need it most in your community. Those who complete the training will have the option to become involved as a Volunteer Advocate in various capacities, including:
*24 Hour Helpline Advocate
*Hospital Response Team Advocate
*Temporary Restraining Order Clinic Advocate
*Support Group Facilitator
Training cost is 75$ per person. Applications are due end of day March 1 2019, and interviews are ongoing as needed. There are only about ten spots left in this training as of 2/4/19, so apply as soon as you can!
