The Land Trust is excited to be helping monarch butterflies! We raised, tagged, and released some earlier this summer and are hoping to improve habitat for them in Central Oregon by planting native milkweed. Milkweed is critical to the survival of monarchs because it is the only plant the caterpillars will eat. Help us help the monarchs by planting native milkweed at Central Oregon Community College!
We are thrilled to partner with the folks at COCC to bring more monarch habitat to Central Oregon and our community. This work party is open to all students and community members.

Rating: Work party with moderate physical activity.
What to Bring: Snacks, water. Dress for the weather. Tiny gloves and tiny trowels if you plan on bringing your little ones.
