Horse experience required for this opportunity. We need 1 or 2 people once a week for 2-3 hours to clean water troughs and sweep mats by feeding areas. We have 10 therapy horses that live in small paddocks that need the water troughs cleaned, scrubbed and refilled each week. As well as the sand swept off the mats in the feeding areas. Some limited interaction with our horses in completing this task. Some training will be required before interacting with the horses. We utilize natural horsemanship methods. We are looking for someone to commit to doing this each week. The previous volunteers did this for 2 years as a couple and have now moved to Colorado. We miss them and are looking for someone to take over this task. Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Mondays only. There are NO opportunities to ride the horses.
