Description

This is a SOLVE Sponsored event under their Adopt a River Program.  Participants are urged to sign up through solveoregon.org ahead of time.   Registration is open at least one month before the event.

Rotary organizes a Spring and a Fall in-stream cleanup each year.  We also do the uplands if we have volunteers to do so.  Wheelchairs can utilize the Ochoco Creek paved pathway.  Participants need to be at least 12 years of age to work in the creek.  We do the cleanups right before irrigation season starts (April 1st) and after irrigation season ends (mid October).  We form 4-5 person teams and assign each team to a section of Ochoco Creek.  It usually takes about 1-1/2 hours to clean a section of creek.
