We are excited to share that Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend is the beneficiary of I Like Pie Run/Walk again this Fall (11/23/23). As the beneficiaries of this event, we will be supporting with different volunteer roles: set up, registration, serving pie, and event clean up.
We are looking for 50 phenomenal volunteers to help with times ranging from 6am – 12pm

When:
Thursday, November 23rd.
Where:
Farewell and River Bend Park alongside the Deschutes River- what a beautiful place to celebrate our love for pie!
Why:
Last year the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend received $25,000 as the beneficiaries of this event, and we are aiming to raise even more this year as the event has grown.
Who:
Up to 50 volunteers, led by BGCB and Cascade Relays staff.
What:
Four different volunteer opportunities, including:
Setup Team: 10 volunteers starting at 6am and ending around 9am helping set up the event!
Registration Team: 10 volunteers starting at 6am and ending around 9am helping manage registration for the event, handing out bibs and race materials.
Pie Team: 15 volunteers starting at 7am and ending around 10am helping cut and serve pie to all of the amazing participants!
Cleanup Team: 15 volunteers starting at 10am and ending around 12pm to help clean up and close out the event.
