Kick off the first day of the City Nature Challenge with a community birdwatching bioblitz event!
Join Think Wild staff for a free, family-friendly bird identification walk. The Hatfield Ponds are a wetland sanctuary with great bird-watching opportunities all year long. We'll appreciate how this diverse ecosystem provides a haven for a variety of waterfowl and shorebirds, including distinctive species like Black-necked Stilts and American Avocets.
Come learn to identify native Central Oregon birds by sight and by sound. Binoculars and field guides are provided.
We'll contribute our observations to Bend's first annual City Nature Challenge!
