The power of hope is what sustains, gives meaning, and lends the promise of a better future. So many of our neighbors here in Central Oregon are facing circumstances where hope is scarce - and we are on a mission to change this, one home at a time. With the help of teams of volunteers, a network of referring agencies, and community supporters, we are able to share the gift of hope by furnishing homes for hundreds of families in need throughout Central Oregon each year.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Donation Center Team: Help pull together a collection of furniture and household items recipient's homes. Includes selecting and gathering items needed to make a house a home, greeting donors and recipients, and organizing the warehouse. Ideally can pull and lift furniture with the help of other volunteers.
Transportation Team: Join our transportation team and deliver hope to the doorsteps of those in need! Includes driving the trailer or helping the team deliver furniture to recipients, picking up furniture donations, and loading/unloading trailer. Must be able to lift heavy furniture.
Group Volunteering: Schedule a team volunteer day. Bring your co-workers, family, friends, or group.
