Assist the Discover Your Forest team, primarily with DYF's Education Programs Director, with the planning and executing multiple events and Education programs. Duties include but not limited to:
- Assist Education Program Director with the development and execution of program curriculum.
- Assist with on-the-ground education programs on Public Lands
- Organize day of event logistics – AV, any equipment needed, transportation of equipment, speaker’s needs, etc.
- Contact outside vendors and groups for food/drinks, entertainment, security, transportation, sign interpreters, donations, etc.
- Assisting with other volunteers and delegation of tasks
- Help gather together and/or collate materials for events such as handouts, brochures, worksheets, etc.
