This summer, Discover Your Forest volunteer rangers are hosting interpretive programs at campgrounds in Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Programs take place Fridays an Saturdays at 8 PM, beginning June 21st. We are seeking local Guest Speakers once a month for a special campground program. Talks last approximately 30 minutes. Guest speaker chats will take place at the Big Obsidian Flow Amphitheater. We are looking for local photographers, history buffs, botanists, or other enthusiasts who are interested in educating campers about Newberry National Volcanic Monument and Central Oregon.
