Members of Friends of the Crook County Library are eligible to join our board of directors. The volunteer board of directors for Friends manages the business and finances of Friends, plans and coordinates book sales, oversees the operation of Chapters and Friends Bookstores in the library, and leads the sorting and storage of book donations.
If you are interested in joining the board, you may attend a board meeting to learn more about the board. You’ll be provided with an information packet that provides background on Friends and the responsibilities of board members. Meetings are currently held on the third Wednesday of the month from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Broughton Room in the Crook County Library in Prineville, Oregon. This meeting time can be changed if board members’ schedules prohibit meeting in the early afternoon.
More information on Friends can be found at: Friends of the Library | Crook County Oregon (crooklib.org).
