Social Media Manager- Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Social Media Manager for SHP will be responsible for furthering the mission of SHP through consistently posting the SHP story on social media, communicating the upcoming schedule for builds and deliveries and engaging more followers to help spread the SHP story.
POSITION SUMMARY
Posting consistently on social media - Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Capturing and posting pictures that tell the SHP story effectively
Communicating the need for volunteers, donors and applicants
Communicating the upcoming build and delivery events
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of and ability to navigate Social Media platforms
A passion for the SHP Mission to help see that No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!
Write and communicate clearly the SHP story through social media posts
Ability to work effectively under pressure, lead and motivate volunteers, colleagues and volunteers, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a strong attention to detail
Strong cooperative behavior with Chapter President, Core Team members, volunteers, donors and corporate sponsors
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a work from home/remote environment
Time management, organizational, interpersonal communication and follow-through skills
